Hearst Communications was hit with a privacy class action Monday in Iowa Southern District Court. The suit, filed by Scott + Scott accuses Hearst of selling subscriber mailing list information to third parties in violation of Ohio's Right of Publicity Law. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:21-cv-09224, Begin v. Hearst Communications, Inc.
