US Bank filed a foreclosure action Thursday in New York Southern District Court against the operators of the Jamaica Center Mall in Queens, New York. The bank, represented by Holland & Knight, alleges that Mattone Group Jamaica Co. is in default of a leasehold mortgage loan and owes unpaid principal in the amount of more than $68 million. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:21-cv-09342, U.S. Bank National Association, AS Trustee, Etc. v. Mattone Group Jamaica Co., LLC et al.
