One of America’s biggest fast-food brands is accused of pecking away at customers’ pocketbooks when they order through its website and its app.

Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders partner Lindsey B. Mann has entered an appearance for Chick-fil-A, the popular chicken sandwich chain, in a pending consumer class action. The action, filed Sept. 9 in New York Southern District Court by Shamis & Gentile and Kaliel Gold PLLC, alleges that Chik-fil-A misleads consumers by imposing hidden delivery fees for food ordered online. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero, is 1:21-cv-08041, Pittman et al v. Chick-Fil-A, Inc.
