Swiss blockchain company Singular DTV sued the company's co-founder and former CEO Monday in New York Southern District Court. The complaint, filed by Kobre & Kim, accuses Zachary James LeBeau of misappropriating trade secrets and seizing $50 million worth of the cryptocurrency Ether by surreptitiously reconfiguring the company's electronic wallet.

Singular DTV is focused on the creation of a blockchain-based system for the distribution and licensing of film and TV content. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
