- Goodwin has added Barbara Warren as a partner in the firm's digital currency & blockchain technology and private investment funds. She joins from Ellenoff Grossman & Schole.
- Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler has promoted Douglas Tang, Amy Vegari, and Timothy Waters to partners, and Susan Vignola, Lisa Wang, and Justin Zaremby to counsel.
- Kenneth Kaufman has joined Moses & Singer as senior counsel in its intellectual property, internet & technology and entertainment & media practices. He was previously senior counsel at Springut Law.
- Barnes & Thornburg has added securities and corporate attorney Scott Budlong as a partner in the firm's corporate department. Previously he was a partner at Kibbe & Orbe which became part of Crowell & Moring this year.
- Chris Hagenbuch has joined Dentons as partner and member in the firm's venture technology and emerging growth companies practice. He was previously with Troutman Pepper.
- Shearman & Sterling has hired Stephen Gruendel as a leveraged finance partner in the firm's finance group. He was formerly counsel at Cahill Gordon & Reindel.
- Olshan Frome Wolosky has named Sebastian Alsheimer and Claudia Dubón as partners and Kerrin Klein, Jessica Stanton and Joseph Weiner as counsel.
- O'Melveny has elected Yaira Dubin, Alexander Roberts and John Rousakis to partners in the firm's New York office.
- Blank Rome has promoted Michael Denci and Nicholas Tambone to partners in New York. In addition, Ross Coe has been elevated to of counsel.
- Morrison Cohen has promoted Daniel Isaacs, Michael Mix, Daniel Studin, and Deborah Weinberg to partners.
- Susman Godfrey has promoted Geng Chen and Zach Savage to partners in New York.
- Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian has elected Hilary Adams, Billy Kwon, Christel Moreno, Mark Oblad, Brian Snyder and Rosie Stein to partners in New York.
- Eddie Shapiro has been promoted to partner at Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes. He is the first attorney the firm has elevated to partner since its launch early this year.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
