Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo is set to participate virtually in a scheduled court appearance Friday in Albany City Court, where his own attorneys and the Albany County District Attorney have each said his misdemeanor forcible touching charge should be dismissed.

Cuomo’s attorney Rita Glavin of Glavin PLLC on Thursday filed a motion to dismiss the complaint, which was filed by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office in October. The complaint accused Cuomo of reaching under a woman’s shirt and groping her breast in the Executive Mansion in December 2020, an allegation he has repeatedly denied.
