Albany City Court Judge Holly Trexler on Friday dismissed the misdemeanor forcible touching complaint against former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo after the Albany County District Attorney’s Office joined in Cuomo’s motion to dismiss.

Albany County District Attorney David Soares said his office found the complainant, who alleged that Cuomo reached under her shirt and groped her breast in the Executive Mansion in December 2020, to be “cooperative and credible” but nevertheless would not be able to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.
