New York Attorney General Letitia James late Tuesday moved to compel former President Donald Trump and two of his children to testify as part of James’ civil investigation into Trump business activities, sharing a new level of detail about what the investigation has uncovered so far in more than 150 pages filed in New York County Supreme Court.

Since starting its investigation into the Trump Organization in 2019 and interviewing Eric Trump and others in 2020, James’ office has “developed significant additional evidence indicating that the Trump Organization used fraudulent or misleading asset valuations to obtain a host of economic benefits, including loans, insurance coverage, and tax deductions,” the team working on the matter wrote in a memorandum to support the motion.
