During her keynote address at the New York State Bar Association's Presidential Summit on Thursday, New York Attorney General Letitia James spoke about her career-long commitment to social justice, especially her office's recent work to promote transgender rights and fight sexual discrimination and harassment.
James described the importance of defending and expanding civil rights practice to address those two issues, which she said share "legal and moral connective tissue."
