An ex-prosecutor and top lawyer in former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration has joined the plaintiffs’ firm Wigdor as counsel.

Laura Edidin, who served as chief special counsel for ethics, risk and compliance in the governor’s office, began practicing at the law firm this week. She left the Cuomo administration in March 2021, citing in a resignation letter ”intolerable dissonance” after Cuomo was accused of sexual harassment.
