Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd and Ademi LLP filed a securities class action Friday in New York Southern District Court against TAL Education Group, a Chinese after-school tutoring program provider, and certain of its top executives.

The lawsuit accuses the defendants of concealing from investors that the company had been blacklisted by the Chinese government for employing deceptive advertising, posting counterfeit student reviews and false pricing quotes and committing other fraudulent acts. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-01015, Sun v. Tal Education Group et al.
