The Thomas More Society, the conservative legal group representing the plaintiffs in a challenge to New York’s vaccine mandate for healthcare workers in the Northern District of New York, filed a new lawsuit in the Eastern District of New York on Monday challenging New York City’s “Key to NYC” indoor vaccine requirement program.

The plaintiffs in the suit are five Orthodox Jews and one Catholic, all of whom refuse to be vaccinated on religious grounds, according to the lawsuit, which names New York City Mayor Eric Adams and the leaders of the city’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as defendants.
