A Manhattan Supreme Court judge ruled Thursday that former President Donald Trump and two of his adult children would have to testify in a civil investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

The ruling, from Justice Arthur Engoron, rejected a motion to quash subpoenas in a probe of Trump’s businesses. And it set up an anticipated appellate fight as attorneys for the family continue to claim political motivation behind James’ probe of the Trump family’s businesses.
