- Grace Jamgochian has joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the firm's global M&A and private equity practice. She was formerly a partner at Shearman & Sterling.
- Blank Rome has added Sophie Jacobi-Parisi as a partner in the firm's matrimonial & family law practice group. She was formerly with Warshaw Burstein. The firm has also hired Elizabeth Young as a litigation associate in its commercial litigation group. She joins from Sullivan & Cromwell.
- K&L Gates has elected Jay Buchman, Robert Salame and Aaron Taishoff as partners.
- Nixon Peabody has added Kevin Grant and Daniel Belostock as partners in the firm's corporate practice. They both join from DLA Piper.
- Robert Shulman has joined Haynes and Boone as a partner in the firm's insurance recovery group. He joins from Paley Rothman.
- Katten Muchin Rosenman has added Geoffrey Young as a partner in the firm's commercial litigation practice. Prior to joining, he was a partner at Reed Smith.
- Laura Martone has rejoined Haynes and Boone as partner in the firm's New York office. She previously worked at the firm in the its Orange County office. She joins from Bracewell where she was a finance partner.
- Herrick, Feinstein has added Holly Gladstone as a partner in the firm's real estate department. Prior to joining, she practiced at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.
- Wiggin and Dana has selected of counsel Anjali Dalal and associates Michael Addison and Jenna Cutler for leadership development with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. Dalal will participate in LCLD's 2022 Fellows program and Addison and Cutler will participate in the 2022 Pathfinders program. The programs fast-track the professional development of the legal industry's diverse, high-potential mid-career and early-career leaders, respectively.
- Forchelli Deegan Terrana has hired three new associates: Gregory Carman, Zachary Manasia and Kelan Sullivan. They are all recent graduates of St. John's University Law School.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Wisconsin Western District Court by Levine Eisberner LLC and Siri & Glimstad on behalf of a project manager who claims that he was wrongfully terminated after applying for a religious exemption to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
