Presiding Justice Rolando T. Acosta of the Appellate Division, First Department has announced the names of four employees of the First Judicial Department who have been selected to receive the 2022 Bernard Botein Award for "outstanding contributions to the administration of justice."
The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held in person on March 21 at 5 p.m. at the New York City Bar Association, 42 W. 44th St.
This year's recipients are Nigel Cameron, network systems engineer III, Office of Court Administration; Dennis Fernandez, court aide, Surrogate's Court, New York County; Jessica Negron, associate court clerk, Bronx Supreme Court, Criminal Term, and Sky Peña-Davis, regional project manager, Office of Justice Initiatives Division of Policy & Planning.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
