On Tuesday, March 8, New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI) gathered for the 29th Annual Law and Society Luncheon honoring John J. Suydam, senior partner and chief legal officer at Apollo Global Management, and Debo P. Adegbile, a partner at WilmerHale and chair of the firm's anti-discrimination practice.
NYLPI devotes proceeds from the luncheons, which often attract sell-out crowds, to support the organization's "innovative efforts combining law, organizing, and the power of the private bar to achieve justice for all New Yorkers." The luncheon was held in person in 2020 and virtually last year.
