Career Announcements- Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has added a five-person team to its life sciences and FDA regulatory industry group. The team will be led by partner Scott Liebman who was most recently a partner at Loeb & Loeb. Joining Liebman from Loeb & Loeb are partner Dominick DiSabatino, who will be based in Washington, D.C., special counsel Eve Costopoulos, associate Alexandra Kitson, and regulatory and compliance specialist Jeremiah Miah, all of whom will be based in New York. In addition to this team hire, the firm has also added corporate/capital markets partner Edward Welch who joins from Fried Frank.
- Ropes & Gray has added Christopher Poggi as a partner in the firm's finance practice. He joins from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
- Julie Lee has joined Katten Muchin Rosenman as a partner in its New York real estate practice. She joins from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
- Herrick, Feinstein has elected partner Carol Goodman to the firm's executive committee.
- Stacy Tecklin has joined Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes as a partner. She will lead the firm's new distressed debt & claims trading group. Prior to joining, she was general counsel for a portfolio company.
- Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle has named Donald Hawthorne as a partner in the firm's litigation practice.
- Cozen O'Connor has hired Gregory Gulia as a shareholder in its intellectual property department. He was previously with Duane Morris.
- Corban Rhodes has joined DiCello Levitt Gutzler as a partner in its privacy, technology, and cybersecurity practice group. He joins from Labaton Sucharow.
- Clifford Chance has hired Leah Feldman as counsel in its US structured finance team. She joins from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.
- Michael Levy has joined Anderson Kill as a shareholder and member of the firm's estates, trusts and tax services group. Prior to joining he maintained a solo practice focused on estate planning and trust and estate administration for 20 years.
- Akerman has added debt finance partners Bryan Reese and Cristina Gonzalez to its corporate practice group. Reese joins from King & Spalding and Gonzalez joins from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
- Stroock has added Gary Silber as a partner in the firm's corporate and tax practices. He was formerly with Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
- Sidley has added Steven Rutkovsky as a partner in the firm's global finance group. He was previously a partner and head of the opinion committee at Ropes & Gray.
- Mound Cotton has hired healthcare liability attorney Lorraine Sylvester as a partner. She was formerly a partner at Mendes & Mount. She is joined by Colleen Martindale, special counsel, and associates Erika DiMarco and Andrew Cameron.
- Robert D'Angelillo has been promoted from senior counsel to partner at Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles.
- Latham & Watkins has elected four New York-based counsel to its partnership. They are Michael Anastasio and Ellen Smiley in the corporate department, Anupama Yerramalli in the finance department and Herman Yue in the litigation & trial department.
- Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich has hired Alexandra White as an associate in its matrimonial practice. She was formerly a court attorney to the Justice Lori S. Sattler, Supreme Court, New York County. The firm has also added Steven Benathen as an associate in the matrimonial practice. He was formerly a court attorney to Associate Justice Lizbeth González of the Appellate Division, First Department.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
