New York Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday asked a Manhattan court to hold former President Donald Trump in civil contempt for noncompliance with a subpoena for his testimony and documents related to the attorney general's civil investigation of his business practices.
In the motion, the attorney general also sought a fine of $10,000 for each day Trump does not comply.
