Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Wednesday announced that a 71-year-old former partner at a Manhattan law firm has been charged with grand larceny, criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records for allegedly stealing $1.2 million from the firm and trying to cover it up.

Arthur Cohen is accused of using his role as treasurer at the firm Gordon and Silber, P.C., which no longer exists, to steal money over the course of approximately six years, starting in 2014, Bragg said.
