Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz On April 26, law enforcement officers and prosecutors will receive much-needed aid in the fight against the proliferation of ghost guns in New York.
On that date, two laws passed by the New York State Legislature and signed into law by New York Governor Kathy Hochul will take effect. These laws will now hold accountable scores of individuals who previously would have avoided prosecution for the manufacture and possession of illegal ghost guns and their component parts.
