The New York State Bar Association on Wednesday announced its annual pro bono service award winners, honoring attorneys, law firms, students and law-student groups for a gamut of volunteer work ranging from refugee resettlement to child protective services to domestic violence to estate administration.

The 19 winners announced included one lawyer recognized from each of the state's 11 judicial districts along with other honorees such as exceptional senior attorney, mid-sized law firm and attorney professionalism winner.
