- Erica Rozow has joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as a partner where she will focus on ERISA-related aspects of investment fund matters. She joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
- Couch White has announced the retirement of longtime partner and chair of the environmental and land use practice group, Adam Schultz, and has named Alita Giuda as the new chair of that group.
- Tarter Krinsky & Drogin has launched a matrimonial & family law practice and has added Morghan Leia Richardson and Frank Perrone, Jr. as partners and co-chairs of the group. They both join from Davidoff Hutcher & Citron.
- Michael Karpen has joined Holland & Knight's financial services practice group as a partner. He was formerly with Troutman Pepper.
- Health care attorney Craig Bleifer has joined Akin Gump as a partner in the firm's health care and life sciences practice. Prior to joining, he served as in-house general counsel at Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk.
- BraunHagey & Borden has added Melissa Ginsberg as a partner in the firm's New York office. She joins from Patterson Belknap.
- Romer Debbas has announced the formation of a fully diverse, all-woman agency lending & affordable housing department. The practice is led by partner Carmen Pagan, who is joined by senior associate Catherine Azevedo, and associate Pamela Norbert.
- Willkie Farr & Gallagher has hired Gabriel Acri as a partner in the firm's asset management department. Previously he served for 10 years as managing director, general counsel and chief compliance officer of hedge fund adviser Sovarnum Capital.
- Blank Rome has added Kathryn Appling as of counsel in the firm's real estate practice. She joins the firm's New York office from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. The firm has also hired Alexa Lutchen as an associate in its matrimonial & family law practice group. She was formerly with Davis Polk & Wardwell.
- James Saling has joined Katten Muchin Rosenman as a partner in its health care transactions and compliance practice. He joins from Troutman Pepper along with associate Erica Youngerman.
- Former Goodwin Procter chair David Hashmall has joined FedArb as a mediator.
- Keith Frank has joined Forchelli Deegan Terrana as a partner in the firm's employment & labor practice group. He was formerly a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff. In addition, Rebecca Stein has joined the firm as an associate in its tax, trusts & estates practice group. Prior to joining, she was an associate at Saundra M. Gumerove & Associates.
- Akerman has named Peter Haveles as a partner of the firm's litigation practice group.
- Jim Koenig has joined Troutman Pepper as a partner and co-lead of the firm's privacy and cybersecurity practice in New York. He joins from Fenwick & West.
- Alex Nicas has joined Goodwin Procter as a partner in its financial restructuring practice. He joins from Kirkland & Ellis. In addition, Esther Chiang has joined the firm's private investment funds practice as a partner. She also joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
- Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has added Kurt Steinhouse as a land use associate. He joins from the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals, where he served as general counsel.
- Ashok Mariìn has been named general counsel at Ichnos Sciences, a global biotechnology company. Formerly, he was chief legal officer at Rafael Holdings.
- Akin Gump has added Jason Koenig as a partner. He was previously at McDermott Will & Emery.
- Ropers Majeski has elevated Christopher Gioia and John Iacobucci from associate to of counsel, and Alex Fermosa from associate to senior attorney in the firm's New York office.
- Jin Park has joined Stradley Ronon as an associate in the firm's investment management group.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
