The New York Supreme Court’s Appellate Division for the First Department on Tuesday denied former President Donald Trump’s interim application for a stay of a Manhattan judge’s order finding that Trump is in civil contempt and should be fined $10,000 per day until he has purged the contempt.

Associate Justice Tanya R. Kennedy signed the order denying the application, writing that the motion for a stay pending appeal will be referred to a full bench for determination.
