The Franklin H. Williams Commission launched the Professional Development Program, designed to promote career advancement in the court system, in an event held May 11-12, 2022.

Organized in partnership with the court system's Division of Human Resources, Office of Diversity and Inclusion and New York State Judicial Institute, the Program hosted a group of interested non-judicial employees in grades 12 through 21 for a two-day immersive training.

The topics included career paths in the courts, professionalism, resume writing, interviewing, public speaking and presentation, networking and the importance of mentorship.
