Gov. Kathy Hochul appointed four judges—Helen Voutsinas, Janice Taylor, Lillian Wan and Barry Warhit—to the Supreme Court Appellate Division, Second Department, which is based in Brooklyn, on Friday.
Voutsinas has served as a Nassau County Appellate Term Judge for the 9th and 10th Judicial Districts since 2019. Previously, she was a Nassau County District Court Justice, and was elected to be a Nassau County Justice in 2018.
