Victims of sexual assault embraced and were overheard saying "we did it" after New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the "watershed" Adult Survivors Act on Tuesday, legislation that will allow a one-year lookback window for those 18 and older to file civil lawsuits against their alleged abusers.
