National intellectual property law firm Merchant & Gould has launched a consulting arm to help companies mitigate risk and protect their brands, including in the fast-growing non-fungible token (NFT) space.

The firm is just the latest to launch a consulting business aimed at expanding its service offerings beyond those of the traditional legal offering. It is also an example of how law firms are looking to capitalize on growing client demand around NFTs and other digital assets.
