New York State Bar Association members’ greatest source of stress during the pandemic stems from inconsistency among the judiciary, as rules of one courtroom don’t apply to the judge next door, its recently-installed leader testified Tuesday.

The litany of concerns raised by association president Sherry Levin Wallach also included work-life balance, as attorneys felt they were never off the clock amid an avalanche of work during the courts’ shift to a new virtual reality.
