Nutter McClennen & Fish filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit Wednesday in New York Southern District Court on behalf of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
The suit targets its U.S. affiliate, the American Foundation for Basic Research in Israel, for allegedly failing to hand over $17 million in charitable donations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant.
