Walter “Jeff” Storey, an attorney and journalist who helped lead the Law Journal’s newsroom for 12 years as its executive editor, died on Friday, his family confirmed. He was 73.

The oldest of six children born to parents who were both local historians—and a father who was himself a newspaperman who worked in the business for more than six decades—Storey was reared in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
