Matthew McConaughey’s speech at the White House was heralded by many as “brilliant.” The Fox contributor Jeanine Pirro a former family court judge, and a respected District Attorney of Westchester County reported that his speech was outstanding.

But I submit that it was way off the mark as to what is necessary to end the horror facing the nation. Good as it was, it was not forward thinking for those anxious to avoid the explosive damage the victim children and adults face from the barrel and shots of a AR-14 and AR-15 “weapons of war” and the use of “high-velocity magazines.”
