- Rosalia Baiamonte, a partner at the matrimonial law firm Gassman Baiamonte Gruner, has been installed as the 120th president of the Nassau County Bar Association.
- Matthew Cutts has joined Dentons as head of its US policy and government relations group. He was previously with Squire Patton Boggs.
- Brown Rudnick has named Vincent (Vince) Guglielmotti as its chief executive officer and chair of its management committee.
- Cozen O'Connor has added Benjamin Friedman as a partner in its private client, trusts and estates group. He was previously a partner in the trusts & estates and wealth preservation group at Dentons.
- Todd Anderson has joined Reed Smith as a partner in the firm's global corporate group. He was formerly founder and managing member of Anderson Tax & Finance Law.
- Jeffery Meyer has joined Venable as a partner in its labor and employment practice group. He was formerly with Nixon Peabody.
- Joseph McKernan has joined Alston & Bird as a finance partner. He joins the firm after serving the last 10 years as a partner at Hodgson Russ.
- Richard Kruger has joined Clifford Chance as counsel in the firm's US funds & investment management team. He joins from Covington & Burling.
- James Frankel has joined Thompson Hine as a partner in the firm's construction practice group. He joins from Venable.
- Forchelli Deegan Terrana has added Gianni Sbarro as an associate in its land use & zoning practice group.
- Kathleen Udo has joined Blank Rome as an associate in the firm's real estate practice.
