New York Attorney General Letitia James and New York City’s Law Department filed lawsuits on Wednesday that seek to ban businesses from supplying unfinished gun frames or receivers without serial numbers to New Yorkers.

The actions were less than a week after the U.S. Supreme Court’s conservative majority annulled New York’s concealed carry law that requires gun owners to show a special need to carry guns in public.
