Attorneys from Locke Lord and from the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) were on hand on June 27 for a free legal clinic to assist Ukrainian and Afghan nationals seeking temporary protected status, work authorization and travel authorization.

A team of 31 attorneys volunteered to assist 26 foreign nationals. With the categories of relief made available, the nationals will be able to remain in the United States through fall 2023, a spokesperson for Locke Lord said.
