A Mississippi lawyer is prepared to travel more than 1,000 miles to federal court in Syracuse to push back against New York’s new conceal carry permitting restrictions that are set to take effect on Sept. 1.

In a rush to fight the law, attorney Stephen D. Stamboulieh filed one of a trio of lawsuits this week. This Mississippi attorney’s claim is on behalf of a Gun Owners of America member who resides in Schenectady.
