Legal Aid Hiring Two New Attorneys to Serve Clients Facing Housing Instability
The legal service provider's new lawyers will be tasked with helping low-income New Yorkers on bankruptcy and estate planning matters.

With the help of a quarter-million-dollar grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, the Legal Aid Society will hire two attorneys tasked with helping low-income New Yorkers protect their nest eggs.
The legal services provider announced that it will use the grant proceeds to pick up a lawyer who works on bankruptcy cases and a second who focuses on estate planning who would work under Legal Aid's Economic Equities Project.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
