A Buffalo, New York, company that conducts live, 20-minute online auctions for buyers and sellers of cars says its access to the industry’s broadest inventory tool is being blocked through the collective effort of organizations that hold car sell-offs in person.

ACV Auctions filed the antitrust lawsuit in U.S. District Court, Western District of New York on Friday, through its lawyers at the international law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
