The New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department on Tuesday disbarred Harlem attorney and real estate developer Gerald Migdol, who pleaded guilty to felony bribery and fraud offenses in Manhattan federal court in April.

Migdol, who was admitted to practice law in New York in 1980, pleaded guilty the same day a grand jury indicted then-New York Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin in the case. Migdol has said he entered into a quid pro quo agreement with Benjamin to exchange campaign contributions for a $50,000 state grant to a nonprofit organization.
