Compliance is growing more complex by the year and becoming a greater source of concern for corporate officers as they are increasingly held personally liable in enforcement actions stemming from no fraud of their own—with potentially career-ending consequences.

To help compliance officers avoid falling behind the regulatory eight ball, the New York City Bar Association will on Sept. 22 hold its first-annual Compliance Institute, an all-day conference featuring panel discussions with government regulators, compliance officers and outside compliance counsel.
