Last week, the New York City Bar Association presented its annual Municipal Affairs awards to nine assistant corporation counsel for the New York City Law Department for outstanding achievement and service to the city.
This year’s winners are Desiree Alexander of the Law Department’s Tort Division; Safiya Edwards, Family Court Division; Eric Lee, Legal Counsel Division; John Lovejoy, Economic Development Division; Morgan McKinney. Special Federal Litigation Division; Michael Smilowitz, Legal Counsel Division; Nathan Taylor, Environmental Law Division; David Thayer, General Litigation Division; Laurel Zabel, Contracts and Real Estate Division.
