New York Attorney General Letitia James put forth a strong white-collar civil case against former President Donald Trump, three of his children and the Trump Organization alleging they and others inflated the value of assets to secure bank loans during a 10-year span, a trio of former federal prosecutors in Manhattan said Thursday.
Nevertheless, said Harry Sandick, a partner in Patterson Belknap, valuation cases, inherently a matter of opinion, can be tough for prosecutors to make.
