Petitioner, landlord, commenced a licensee holdover proceeding after the tenant of record, Scott Anderson, died and the last renewal lease expired.
In his answer, respondent Markyus O’Neill, Mr. Anderson’s companion, contended that plaintiff failed to properly serve the predicate notices and petition and asserted that he had the right to a renewal lease in his own name as a nontraditional family member.
