What are some of your proudest recent achievements? I am proud that we increased the Corporation's MWBE contracting under my initiative by 15% and we also partnered with Hofstra University and Erase Racism to develop programs under my leadership. I recently initiated a law clerk program for the hospital and expanded volunteer services to high school students. I am proud of the focus I spent at reviewing corporation-wide contracts and renegotiating for better prices for a cost savings of millions.

Name a lawyer or mentor whose leadership inspired you. My first boss as a law clerk was a partner in the firm I worked at. Arthur Walsh taught me how to prepare for anything. He taught me everything from closings to court appearances, how to write a brief and how to meet with a client. He remained my mentor and advisor. He was patient with me and any student that worked in his firm and I try to do the same with my staff and clerks. He demonstrated that he was always available and tried to help everyone no matter how big or small the matter was because to the person he was helping it was always important and personal. I am always available (probably to my children's dismay!) and that is because of working and learning from him early in my career.
