A public hearing will be held by the Mayor's Advisory Committee on the Judiciary on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 9 a.m. at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, 100 Church Street, 12th Floor, New York.
The public hearing will be conducted in-person, however, due to current health and safety protocols, any person intending to attend must RSVP to [email protected] no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7.
This public hearing is for the purpose of receiving information from any person concerning the fitness of the following candidates who are nominees for appointment by the Honorable Eric Adams, Mayor of the City of New York, as judges of the Criminal Court:

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
