Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron on Thursday heard oral arguments from the New York Attorney General’s Office and lawyers representing several businesses linked to former President Donald Trump before announcing he would reserve decision on the AG’s request for a preliminary injunction in the case.

Engoron said he plans to rule by the end of the day Thursday on the AG’s motion to block the Trump entities from transferring assets without the court’s approval and to appoint an independent monitor to oversee their financial disclosures.
