The accountant who served the Trump Organization and former President Donald Trump for decades on Tuesday testified that he did not know the company’s ex-CFO Allen Weisselberg was receiving personal expenses tax-free from the Trump Organization and subtracting those expenses from his salary and bonus.

Accountant Donald Bender of the accounting firm Mazars USA said he trusted Weisselberg, who pleaded guilty in August to 15 counts including criminal tax fraud.
