The New York agency that investigates allegations of corruption, fraud, criminal activity, conflicts of interest and abuse in the state's executive branch had some self-examination to do when Inspector General Lucy Lang came aboard in October 2021.
In an interview about her first year in office, Lang said the agency with about 130 employees in seven statewide offices didn't have annual performance evaluation reviews that existed in a methodical way.
