PhotoWhile 2022 looked a lot more like the days before the pandemic in terms of how society functions, it was anything but a dull year in the news. Ketanji Brown Jackson made history by becoming the first Black woman to join the U.S. Supreme Court. Then the court broke other precedents with its ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade. Meanwhile, various courts grappled with cases involving or at least directly adjacent to former President Donald Trump. ALM photographers Diego Radzinschi, who is based in Washington, D.C., and Brooklyn-based Ryland West shot through it all.
