A Manhattan judge on Friday sentenced the Trump Corp. and the Trump Payroll Corp. to pay a total of $1.6 million after they were found guilty of scheming to defraud, criminal tax fraud and other crimes in December.
Attorneys for the companies, which both do business as the Trump Organization, said they plan to appeal the guilty verdict.
