In 1994, defendant Alberto Raposo lived with Hector Ruiz and Abraham Delvalle in a Manhattan building.
On June 5, 1994, after a dispute with Ruiz, Raposo set fires throughout the building, while Ruiz and Delvalle were elsewhere in the building, that took the life of FDNY Lieutenant George Lener.
